Description
The lake is located in the Tauț village, 55 km from Arad, in the contact area of the Cigher Hills with the Zărand Mountains. It is a water storage lake. Here it was developed a real holiday village. To fish in the Tauţ lake, a fishing permit is required. The lake is recommended for fishing perch and chub. Another major tourist attraction is the nearby medieval fortress of Tauţ dating from 13th-14th centuries.
