Description

The Șoimoș pond is located in Arad county, on the administrative territory of the Lipova town, opposite the Şoimoş fortress, in the major bed of the Mureş river.
It has a water surface that is variable depending on the level of the Mureş river.
In addition to many species of fish, in the pond can be found: turtles, crayfish, ducks, chickens, storks, otters.
It is managed by the Arad County Association of Sport Hunters and Fishermen - Lipova subsidiary.
