The palace was built by the Railway Company of Arad - Cenad. The plans were made by the architect Miklós Ybl from Budapest and modified by the architect Lajos Jiraszek from Arad. The eclectic building distinguishes itself because of its Italian Renaissance elements, the richly decorated facade, the two corner towers, and the four entrances and the emblem of the railway company.
