The building was the headquarters of subsidiary of the National Bank of Romania. It was built between 1909 and 1910 as an bank building. It stands out because of its Neoclassical style, drawing attention especially thanks to the exterior decorations of the storeys, guarded by massive columns, each one with a Corithic chapiter. At the triptych there is a stone-made beehive, the symbol of the economy.
