As a protestant religious historical monument, the church was built in 1906 in the neo-gothic style by the architect László Szantay. In Arad is best known by the name The Red Church because of the red colored decorative bricks that cover the walls. The rich portal, the sharp tower, the rectangular shrine and the electro pneumatic organ made in Timişoara, are pointed out at this church. The main tower of the church is 46 meters high.
