Description
Sinesie’s cave is located on the left side of the Mures river, in the contact area between the Lipova hills and Poiana Ruscă mountains, in the area of commune Săvârşin, village Căprioara, at approximately 1 km from the centre of it, in the basin of the Căpriorişca Valley.
In the cave there can be found colonies of bats (Myotis myotis) and there were detected bone fragments of Ursus speleus and Neolithic pottery fragments.
Sinesie’s cave was declared natural reservation with a protected area of 0,1 ha, constituting a speleological reservation with local importance.
